For a small community there are still plenty of things to do. Each of the parks offer possibilities for various activities. Rates are reasonable. The Cape Coral Museum is also a famous attraction. Access to multiple beaches also makes this a perfect spot for tourists. Ft. Myers Beach, nature trails and lots of water activities are very popular. Fishing is a main leisure activity in the region. Head out to Captiva’s beach for the best sunset in Florida.
Shopping is limited to small boutiques and souvenir shops as mentioned; most eager shoppers head across the bridge and go to the Tangers Outlet mall in Fort Myers.
If you bring your golf clubs with you head down to The Oaks of Cape Coral or another public course is The Golf Club of Cape Coral. Both decent courses for the price.
