The Importance Of Newsletters And Balanced Content

Balance As A Concept: Balance in any body of work is not always an easy thing to make plain but, if you think in terms of scales, one weight must always be balanced by another. The same applies to newsletters and newsletter articles, except that the balance must inevitably be in terms of the content itself or its format (the layout and the look of the newsletter or article). In this work we are concentrating more on content than layout but the universal 'rules of balance' will always apply. Despite the confusion that can arise in the minds of some writers, it really isn't too difficult a concept to comprehend. A certain amount of caution is necessary though, as it can be only too easy sometimes to vary the whole tone of an article, or indeed a newsletter, without intending to.

“Does The Music Industry Really Expect Authors To Seek Permission To Use Lyrics In A Book Title?”

What is there to stop a writer from using a title from an already published book on their own book? Can the words from a well known or even obscure song allowed to be used in a work of fiction? Authors are, at times, ignorant to the rules of copyright laws, some even "publish and be damned". But do so at your peril! However the good news is, titles of published works like books are not the subject of copyright law. Can you picture it if that was the case, the law courts would be chock-full with writs being served left, right and centre!
