Some of the older generations driving is pretty bad and this has sparked claims that they should be banned from driving altogether. I do not think that this is a bad idea providing that they are tested before hand because it is pretty harsh for someone to just take a license from an old person when they could be more than capable of driving.

Could this be where banning elderly from motorway driving occur, they could still drive, just not on the most dangerous rifes. Although I still think a test would have to be made to do this as there are still so many old people out there that can drive on a motorway perfectly well. Could stopping them from going on main roads actually stop their lives from going normally, how would they be able to drive up to the airport and to see a family member. This is not fair at all.

On the other hand it could cut back accidents a lot because there do seem to be more and more accidents happening that are caused by old people not knowing what they are doing. I have to say that it can also be very fair to say that they are often not goign fast enough on a motorway and this is not a safe way to drive. Not only is this not fair on the drivers but it isn’t fair on the older people who get abused for it by the other people in their cars.

Another issue is that with banning old people from driving you are going to see a lot less Bad Credit Car Leasing and this isn’t a great thing because it will shut down a lot of businesses. This will increase the safety ofthe roads.
